| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic full beard and curly hair rendered in the Antonine style. The legend, partially legible, runs around the periphery of the flan. The coin shows considerable wear and patination consistent with extended circulation, with the portrait detail softened but the laureate crown still distinguishable. |
