Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and pinned at the nape in the characteristic Antonine court style. The effigy displays finely rendered drapery over the right shoulder and chest. The circular legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to wear. The portrait is rendered in the idealized provincial Greek tradition, with a broad, slightly softened facial treatment typical of Mysian civic coinage of the Antonine period.
