| Reverse description | Aphrodite standing left, her weight resting on her left arm, which leans upon her cloak draped over an indistinct object, interpreted as either a column or a tree trunk. The goddess is depicted in a relaxed contrapposto pose consistent with Hellenistic sculptural conventions common in provincial Phrygian coinage. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is inscribed in the field, accompanied by the civic designation numeral. The reverse die workmanship is typical of the Midaeum civic mint of the Conventus of Synnada. |
