Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view, presenting the characteristic bearded portrait of the emperor. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Conventus of Cyzicus. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, with traces of dotted border visible along the coin's irregular flan edge. The portrait displays the paludamentum over the cuirass, consistent with imperial military iconography of the Severan period.
