Obverse description Bare-headed and draped bust of Antinous facing left, rendered in a youthful Hellenistic style with characteristic curly hair falling in locks to the nape of the neck. The effigy displays the idealized features associated with Antinous — full lips, prominent brow, and soft facial contours — consistent with the posthumous heroic portraiture issued across the eastern provinces. The circular legend ΑΝΤΙΝΟΟϹ ΗΡΩϹ (Antinous Hero) runs around the bust within a beaded border.
