Reverse description Isis Pharia depicted advancing to the right, shown in full figure wearing a billowing, elaborately draped garment that streams behind her in the wind. She holds a sistrum in her raised right hand and grasps a billowing sail with her left hand, the sail rendered as a large, curving sheet of cloth — her characteristic attributes as patroness of Alexandrian seafarers. The figure is modeled in the refined Hellenistic-Egyptian style typical of the Alexandrian mint, set within a beaded border. The regnal date legend appears in the field.
