| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear, with a spear visible over the right shoulder. The portrait follows the military convention typical of provincial bronze coinage of the sole reign period (260–268 AD), combining the paludamentum and cuirass to emphasize imperial authority. A partial Latin legend surrounds the bust, largely illegible due to the coin's worn state. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial issues of the mid-third century. |

| Reverse description | A she-wolf standing to the right, her head turned to suckle the twins Romulus and Remus beneath her. This Romulus and Remus type is a well-attested reverse design on Roman provincial bronzes of Parium, referencing the city's colonial Roman identity and its claim to Trojan–Roman heritage. The figures of the infants are rendered beneath the wolf's body, consistent with the standard iconographic formula. A partially legible Latin colonial legend surrounds the type, with the inscription largely worn. The coin surface displays a dark green patina with areas of earthen encrustation. |
