| 背面描述 | The god Pan stands facing within a rocky grotto or nymphaeum setting, his legs crossed in a relaxed contrapposto posture, leaning against a small tree trunk to his right. He raises the syrinx (pan-pipes) to his lips with both hands, playing the instrument, while trees flank the rocky archway on either side. Below the main scene, a cave entrance is partially screened by a latticed or draped screen. To the left of the figure lies a pedum (shepherd's crook), and to the right a syrinx rests against the grotto wall; the reverse legend with the civic era date ϹΚΓ (year 223 of the Pompeian era, corresponding to AD 219/220) is distributed in the field. |
