Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The portrait displays the radiate laurel wreath encircling the imperial effigy, with facial features typical of early third-century Roman provincial engraving. The surrounding Greek legend, partially visible along the periphery, identifies the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and shows pronounced surface corrosion consistent with heavy circulation wear.
