| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial style with bold relief. The emperor's effigy displays characteristic Flavian portraiture with close-cropped hair beneath a laurel wreath. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑ ΟΥΕϹΠΑ ΚΑΙϹΑΡΙ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΩ, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The coin's irregular flan edge is characteristic of provincial hammered bronze coinage of this period. |
