Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian coinage of the late 2nd century AD. The portrait displays the characteristic laurel wreath encircling the head, with visible drapery at the truncation of the bust. The surrounding field bears a Greek imperial titulature legend, partially legible due to significant surface corrosion and encrustation. The overall strike is moderately centred on an irregular flan.
