| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Claudius facing left, rendered in the provincial portrait style typical of Pontic civic coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic features of the emperor with short hair and laurel wreath. A Latin legend surrounds the portrait in the field, reading TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG P M TR P C I F. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with local hammered production at the Sinope mint. |

| Reverse description | Bare-headed portrait bust of Agrippina Minor (Agrippina II), wife of Claudius and mother of Nero, facing left, rendered in the elegant dynastic style favored on provincial issues of the Julio-Claudian period. The bust is depicted with characteristic hairstyle arranged in waves. The surrounding Latin legend, distributed around the field, identifies her as Augusta and records the civic decree authorizing the issue. The overall design reflects the honorific status accorded to Agrippina during the reign of Claudius. |
