Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view. The imperial effigy displays the laureate wreath and military cuirass typical of Severan-era provincial coinage. The encircling Greek legend reads in the field around the portrait. The flan is irregular, consistent with provincial hammered bronze production of the period.
