| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her elaborate hair arranged in characteristic ridged waves and crimped curls coiled at the nape of the neck, rendered in the Severan court style. The empress is depicted with finely modeled facial features and dressed in layered imperial robes. The encircling Greek legend identifies her as Augusta. The flan shows typical provincial bronze fabric with natural patination. |
