Obverse description Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic Severan three-quarter back view. The imperial effigy displays the paludamentum (military cloak) and cuirass, conveying both dynastic and military authority. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ ΑΥΓΟΥϹΤΟϹ around the bust. The flan exhibits a flan crack at the upper edge, and the surfaces show heavy wear with a dark olive-brown patina consistent with prolonged provincial circulation.
