| 正面铭文 | ΑΥΤοΚΡΑΤΩΡ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝοϹ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Antoninus) |
| 背面描述 | Dionysus stands facing on a raised base, head turned to the left, holding a bunch of grapes in his right hand and a thyrsus in his left. Flanking the central figure, two reclining river-gods are depicted facing each other: Billaios on the left, holding a reed and a branch, and Sardon on the right, holding corn-ears and a cornucopia; each reclines upon a water-urn from which water flows. The composition reflects the civic pride of Tium in its local river deity Billaios and the Lydian river Sardon, rendered in the classicizing provincial style of Antonine Asia Minor. The reverse legend is distributed in the field. |
