| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of the emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Judaean civic coinage. The effigy displays the laureate wreath encircling the head, with neck and shoulder drapery visible below. The surrounding Greek legend, partially legible on this heavily patinated example, identifies the emperor as Autocrator and Caesar. The flan is irregular and moderately worn, consistent with hammered provincial bronze production. |
