| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a portrait convention characteristic of mid-third-century provincial coinage. The emperor's paludamentum is visible at the shoulder, and the cuirass is rendered with careful detail. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy, reading clockwise from the upper left. The portrait displays the elongated facial features typical of Gallienic workshop style in Asia Minor. |
