Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Herennius Etruscus facing right, portrayed in three-quarter rear view. The effigy displays the imperial paludamentum over the cuirass, rendered with careful detail typical of Phrygian provincial coinage of the mid-3rd century AD. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait style reflects the conventions of the Decian period provincial workshops of Asia Minor.
