| 背面描述 | Tyche, the personification of the city's fortune, stands facing left in a long garment, extending a patera over a lighted altar in her right hand and cradling a cornucopia in her left. Above, an eagle perches on a palm branch with a wreath in its beak, symbolising victory and divine favour. A palm tree rises at the left of the field, with a possible second palm at right. The reverse legend encircles the scene, identifying the issuing Septimian colony and the Legio III Parthica. The composition is characteristic of Mesopotamian provincial civic coinage of the Decian period. |
