| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, portrayed from behind, with the radiate crown's spikes clearly visible above the head. The effigy displays military dress with visible paludamentum folds at the shoulder. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait field, reading from upper left around the coin's periphery.
