| Beschrijving voorzijde | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, portrayed three-quarter from the rear, with the radiate crown, paludamentum, and military cuirass clearly rendered. The effigy displays the characteristic provincial style of Mesopotamian mint engraving, with bold, slightly rough workmanship. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a heavy green patina consistent with long burial in an arid environment. |

To the right, the centaur Sagittarius is shown drawing a bow, serving as the zodiacal emblem of the legion. In the exergue, the river god Chaboras (Khabur) reclines or swims, personifying the local river. The Greek colonial legend encircles the field. |
