The figure is rendered in a flowing draped garment with drapery folds visible across the lower body. The reverse field carries the civic legend of Amisus asserting its free city status (ΕΛΕΥΘΕ), and the Greek era date ϹΠΒ (282 of the Pontic Era) appears in the field or exergue area. The composition reflects the strong Hellenistic civic tradition of the mint. |
