Reverse description Standing figure of Homonoia (Concordia) depicted facing, with head turned to the left, rendered in the conventional iconographic scheme of the goddess. She extends a patera in her right hand and holds a cornucopia in her left arm, symbols of concord and abundance. The figure occupies the central field of the reverse in a full-length pose typical of Bithynian civic coinage of the Severan period. The ethnic legend of the issuing city appears in the field, affirming the civic pride of Nicaea.
