Reverse description Dionysus, the divine patron widely venerated in the cities of Asia Minor, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left. The god holds a long thyrsus in one hand and extends a cantharus (wine cup) over a panther positioned at lower left, a canonical iconographic grouping for the deity. The reverse legend, arranged around the field, records the name of the local magistrate responsible for the issue. Surface encrustation obscures much of the detail on this example.
