She holds a rudder in her right hand, symbolising the guidance of fate, and a cornucopia in her left arm, signifying fertility and plenty. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial Greek style of Asia Minor. The encircling legend names the local magistrate and the issuing civic community. |
