| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Mamaea, Augusta and mother of Severus Alexander, facing right, with hair arranged in a diadem. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of the Conventus of Smyrna, with finely detailed drapery visible at the shoulder. A circular Greek legend frames the portrait along the coin's periphery. The flan shows typical irregularity of hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | Tyche, the personification of Fortune and civic patroness, depicted standing to the left in full figure, wearing a kalathos (modius) atop her head as an emblem of abundance and civic prosperity. She holds a rudder in her right hand, symbolising the guidance of fate, and a cornucopia in her left arm, signifying fertility and plenty. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial Greek style of Asia Minor. The encircling legend names the local magistrate and the issuing civic community. |
