Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Troas mint. The emperor's effigy displays characteristic youthful features with a laurel wreath crown. The circumferential Latin legend encircles the bust in the field. The flan is irregular, as is customary for bronze provincial issues of this period.
