Beschrijving voorzijde Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, depicted as a youth with curly hair, seen from the front. The portrait displays characteristic Severan dynastic style with finely rendered drapery and segmented cuirass shoulder-piece visible at the bust truncation. The encircling Greek legend names the prince as Publius Septimius Geta Caesar, running around the periphery of the flan. The field shows the typical irregular surface of a provincially struck hammered bronze issue.

Beschrijving keerzijde An eagle with wings fully spread stands upon a rectangular altar, its head turned to the right and holding a wreath in its beak, flanked on either side by a legionary or civic standard. The eagle, a prominent symbol of divine favour and imperial authority in the provincial coinage of Bithynia, is rendered in bold relief typical of Nicomedian mint work. The reverse legend, distributed around the periphery in two lines, proclaims the city of Nicomedia's twice-awarded neocorate status. The composition is well-centred within the irregular flan, consistent with hammered provincial bronze production of the Severan period.
