Reverse description Athena standing facing with head turned to the left, her right arm extended forward holding a patera for libation, while her left arm rests upon a tall vertical spear. A large round shield rests at her feet to one side. The figure is rendered in the standard provincial civic style, with the goddess presented in a static, hieratic pose typical of Severan-era Asia Minor bronze coinage. The encircling legend records the name of the presiding civic strategos and the ethnic of the Temnite community.
