Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her elaborately coiffed hair piled and waved atop the head in the fashion characteristic of the Antonine period. The effigy is rendered in moderate relief, with folds of drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (Faustina Augusta) runs around the periphery of the flan.
