Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus facing right, depicted with characteristic youthful features and full beard. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the provincial Roman style typical of Corinthian colonial coinage. The legend encircles the bust, reading IMP VERVS AVG. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show the bold, slightly rough striking characteristic of provincial bronze issues of this period.
