Reverse description A circular domed temple of Melikertes-Palaimon depicted in elevation, its roof adorned with two dolphins flanking the apex and supported by four columns. Within the temple interior, the figure of Melikertes-Palaimon is shown reclining on the back of a dolphin, oriented to the right, accompanied by a pine tree — a symbol closely associated with the Isthmian Games held in honor of Palaimon at Corinth.
