Reverse description Standing figure of Victoria (Nike) depicted facing left with head turned to the right, rendered in flowing drapery in the Hellenistic tradition. The goddess raises her right hand aloft holding a wreath and carries a long palm branch in her left hand, both attributes symbolic of victory. The colonial legend C L I COR is distributed around the figure in the field, identifying the issuing authority. The composition is characteristic of Roman provincial coinage struck at the Colonia Laus Iulia Corinthiensis.
