| Obverse lettering | I M AVR ANTONINVS AVG (Translation: Emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, Augustus) |
| Reverse description | Isthmian cult scene set within an open landscape. To the left, a decorated altar stands beneath a pine tree, upon which Melikertes-Palaimon reclines on a dolphin facing right, a reference to his mythological apotheosis and the Isthmian Games held in his honour. To the right, the personification of Isthmos stands nude facing left, touching a pine branch with one hand and holding a rudder in the other, symbolising the strategic maritime position of Corinth. The reverse composition reflects the deep religious and civic identity of the Colonia Iulia Laus Corinthiensis. A Latin colonial legend occupies the field. |
