| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with a full beard rendered in short curls characteristic of his early imperial portraits. The emperor is depicted with naturalistic facial features consistent with the Antonine school of portraiture. A partially legible Latin legend encircles the bust within the outer border of the flan. The coin shows significant wear and a flan chip at the right, affecting both the legend and the rim.
