The reverse legend ΕΠΙ ϹΤΡΑ ΜΗΝΟΔΩΡΟΥ Β ΙΕΡΟΚΑΙϹΑΡΕ is inscribed around the field, citing the name and title of the local strategos Menodoros and the ethnic of the issuing city Hierocaesarea. The composition is typical of civic bronze issues from Lydia under Marcus Aurelius, emphasizing communal harmony and religious piety. |
