| Reverse description | The Anatolian lunar deity Mên depicted standing to the left, clad in Phrygian cap and dressed in local attire, holding a pine cone in the extended right hand and a long sceptre in the left. Behind his shoulders appears the characteristic crescent symbol associated with this deity's lunar iconography. The reverse legend naming the local magistrate Titianos and the civic ethnic of Saitta encircles the design. The type reflects the strong local veneration of Mên throughout Lydia during the Imperial period. |
