| Obverse lettering | ΤΟΝ ΚΤΙϹΤΑΝ (Translation: for the founder) |
| Reverse description | Zeus — or possibly Demos — seated to the left on a high-backed throne, his upper body nude, holding a patera in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left; before him stand the three Charites (Graces) as a group, rendered as small draped female figures. The composition reflects the civic religious iconography common to Bithynian provincial bronzes under Gallienus. A dotted border frames the design. The reverse legend ΗΡΑΚΛΗΑϹ ΝΕΟΚΟΡΩ, translating as 'of Heraclea, neocorate,' appears in the field, referencing the city's honorific status as keeper of an imperial cult temple. |
