| Beschrijving keerzijde | An agonistic prize table, depicted in perspective with legs visible below, supporting two large agonistic crowns, each inscribed with the names of the respective contests: ΚΑΠΕΤΩΛ (Capitolia) and ΠΥΘΙΑ (Pythia). The reverse field is dominated by a multi-line inscription naming the city of Aphrodisias, the ecumenical character of the games, and the presiding magistrate Stratonikos. The die-engraving is typical of the Carian provincial workshop, with text carefully arranged in horizontal registers across the field. |
