| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted from a rear three-quarter perspective, with the paludamentum visible over the shoulder. The effigy displays a youthful imperial portrait characteristic of Elagabalus's coinage from the Lydian provincial mint. The Greek legend ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ encircles the bust, referencing the emperor's dynastic name Antoninus.
