| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, with short beard and curled hair, draped in paludamentum over the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait. The coin bears a later suspension hole pierced at the top, indicating secondary use as a pendant. |
