Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Claudius II Gothicus facing right, rendered in a provincial style typical of Pisidian colonial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a radiate crown with pronounced spikes, paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, and visible scale or lorica armour beneath. The portrait is boldly modelled with strong facial features. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP CAES M AVR CLAVDIV, identifying the emperor by his imperial titles.
