The eagle, a Ptolemaic symbol adopted by the Roman imperial mint at Alexandria, dominates the reverse field. The Greek legend ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑ appears to the left, with the regnal year L ΙΒ (year 12) to the right. The flan is irregular and shows the typical surface texture of provincially struck bronze issues. |
