Reverse description Zeus Aseis standing to the right, depicted in the local Phrygian cult type distinctive to Laodicea ad Lycum. The deity extends one hand to touch the head of a goat standing at his side, while cradling an infant in his other arm, a scene evoking the nurturing aspect of this regional Zeus epithet. The figure is rendered in a somewhat summary provincial style consistent with Severan-era civic bronze coinage. The Greek legend encircling the field proclaims the city's neocorate status.
