Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in the vigorous provincial style characteristic of the Lydian conventus. The emperor's portrait exhibits closely cropped curly hair beneath the laurel wreath, with a short beard. The Greek imperial titulature encircles the bust within the fields, reading from upper right continuing around the left.

(Translation: Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus)
Reverse description Zeus Lydios depicted standing facing left, draped in a long chiton and himation, his head turned slightly upward. In his extended right hand he holds a small eagle, and in his left hand he grasps a long vertical sceptre. The reverse legend runs around the periphery within a beaded border, identifying the issuing civic authority of Bagis.
