| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, seen from the front, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Carian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a laurel wreath, a draped paludamentum over the left shoulder, and visible cuirass straps. A Greek legend surrounds the bust, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. The flan is irregular, and the surfaces show a deep olive-green patina consistent with prolonged burial. |
