Beschrijving voorzijde Bare or laureate head of Augustus facing left, rendered in a somewhat provincial style with finely engraved hair arranged in short locks across the forehead, characteristic of Julio-Claudian portraiture. The emperor's features — defined brow, straight nose, and firm jaw — are modelled in moderate relief against a plain, unmarked field. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of locally produced bronze coinage from Tripolitanian civic mints during the Augustan period.

Beschrijving keerzijde Central device comprising two crossed items — most likely a caduceus and a grain ear or club — depicted in moderate relief within a wreath border. The wreath, composed of two laurel or olive branches tied at the base with a pellet at the apex, frames the entire reverse design in a symmetrical arrangement. The Punic/Phoenician inscription 𐤋𐤐𐤒𐤉, reading 'Lpqy' (the civic name of Leptis Magna in the Punic script), appears within the field among the crossed symbols. The overall composition reflects the bilingual civic coinage tradition of Leptis Magna, blending Roman iconographic conventions with indigenous Punic epigraphy.
