| Obverse description | Youthful laureate and draped bust of Temenos, the mythological oikist (founder) of Temenothyrae, facing right. The effigy is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with carefully modelled hair beneath the wreath and drapery visible at the truncation. The encircling Greek legend ΤΗΜΕΝΟϹ ΟΙΚΙϹΤΗϹ identifies the heroic figure as the city's founder. |

| Reverse description | Dionysus standing left, his nude body rendered in a classical contrapposto stance, extending a cantharus downward over a panther at his feet and holding a thyrsus in his left hand. The panther, sacred animal of Dionysus, is depicted at lower left. The composition reflects the strong Dionysiac cult associations of Temenothyrae in Phrygia. The magistrate's name and civic ethnic are distributed in the field as the reverse legend ϹΚΟΠΕΛΙΑΝΟϹ ΤΗΜΕΝΟΘΥΡΕΥϹΙ. |
