Reverse description Artemis stands facing at centre, head turned to the right, in the act of drawing an arrow from the quiver at her shoulder while holding a bow in her other hand; to the left, a stag stands facing left with its head turned back to the right; to the right, a small cult statue, possibly representing Cybele, stands facing and wears a kalathos. The magistrate's name and title appear in the field and exergue as an epimeletês inscription, recording civic responsibility for the issue. The composition is a provincial Phrygian adaptation of Artemis Ephesia iconography combined with local cult imagery.
